<p>An electronic thermometer that detects the temperature of a measurement site so as to calculate body temperature, the thermometer including: a power source unit that changes the electronic thermometer a "power source on" state in response to the operation of a power source switch; a measuring unit that measures temperature using a temperature detected by a temperature sensor; and a notification unit that, when the measuring unit has completed temperature measurement, outputs a notification of said completion for a predetermined period. If a predetermined operation of the power source switch is detected during the notification by the notification unit, the notifying output is stopped even within the predetermined period.</p> |
