<p>The invention provides a method of playing a variant poker card game using cards having rank and suit between a plurality of players or between at least one player and a banker, the method comprising in a game round the steps of: dealing two cards face down to each player and the banker if present (102); each player inspecting his or her two cards (103); dealing a first, second and third community card (109); revealing the first community card to the player(s); revealing the second community card to the player(s) (109); each player laying bets according to defined betting rules at defined betting times relative to the foregoing sequence (104,110,111); revealing the third community card to the player(s) (112); determining one or more winners from revealed cards of the players and banker if present, based on comparing scores associated with the five cards made from the respective player's or banker's two cards and the three community cards (113, 114), wherein the score of the five cards is above a lowest score if the five cards combine to form one of a set of traditional poker combinations or one of a set of at least one non-traditional poker combination(s); and distributing winnings according to distribution rules (115).</p> |
