PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic assembling apparatus that permits an operator to approach an assembling machine during maintenance, and can highly precisely feed a part to the assembling machine while obviating necessity of position measurement of the part during the feeding of the part.SOLUTION: An automatic assembling apparatus 1 includes: an assembling machine 10; and a feeder 40 movable to a part feeding position and a maintenance position. The feeder 40 includes: a moving mechanism 50 capable of moving a pallet 60, and the assembling machine includes: a pallet retaining member 30 that is fixed to jut out from a workbench 11 toward the part feeding position. When the feeder 40 is located at the maintenance position, the pallet retaining member 30 permits an operator to approach the assembling machine 10 and thus facilitates maintenance. When the pallet 60 is fed from the moving mechanism 50 of the feeder 40 located at the part feeding position, the pallet retaining member 30 guides, positions, and retains the pallet 60, and thus highly precisely positions the pallet 60 with respect to the assembling machine 10. |
