METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VOICE QUALITY MONITORING

A method and an apparatus for voice quality monitoring, which solves a difficult problem of reasonably monitoring a voice quality of a long audio signal at a low cost. The method comprises: intercepting one or multiple voice signal segments from an input signal; performing speech segment division on each voice signal segment to obtain one or multiple speech segments; evaluating the voice quality of the speech segment and obtaining a quality evaluation result according to voice quality evaluation. The apparatus corresponding to the method comprises a classification unit, a speech segment division unit and a quality evaluation unit. A preceding technical scheme performs signal classification on the input signal, performs speech segment division on the voice signal segment incepted after classification, and evaluates the voice quality by speech segment after division. Because the speech segment after division contains only a voice signal and is shorter than the input signal, the voice quality of the long audio signal can be reasonably monitored at the low cost so as to obtain a more accurate voice quality evaluation result.
