摘要 A chemical reactor CR, for enabling N pairwise fluid contacts among k chemical fluids, with k≥ 2 and ≥4, comprises: a reaction layer essentially extending in a 2D plane subtended by two directions x, y, preferably perpendicular; and comprising N chemical cells CC, each including two circuit portions CP1, CP2, CP, designed for enabling circulation of two of the k chemical fluids, respectively, said two circuit portions intersecting each other, thereby enabling one pairwise fluid contact for said two of the k chemical fluids; a fluid distribution circuit (Ml, M2) comprising k sets of inlet orifices IA, IB sequentially alternating along lines parallel to one of the two directions, for respectively dispensing k chemical fluids to the reaction layer; and k sets of outlet orifices OA', OB' sequentially alternating along lines parallel to the inlet orifices, for respectively collecting k chemical fluids from the reaction layer, the outlet orifices shifted along said one of the two directions with respect to the inlet orifices, and wherein, each circuit portion connects, via respective ends thereof, an inlet orifice to an outlet orifice. A photovoltaic cell and method of use of the apparatus is also disclosed.
