PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform the engagement and adjustment of a first bevel gear and a second bevel gear, and to easily perform the incorporation work of the first bevel gear and the second bevel gear into a transmission case. SOLUTION: This hydraulic pump device includes: the first bevel gear 41 driven by a shaft 12 for power transmission in the transmission case 1; the second bevel gear 42 engaged with the first bevel gear 41 and connected to a pump input shaft 36 of a hydraulic pump 35; and a holder 38 for supporting the second bevel gear 42. The holder 38 for supporting the second bevel gear 42 includes a support 51 for supporting the first bevel gear 41 and is detachably mounted in the transmission case 1.
