The present invention provides an apparatus for removing foreign matters from a roll by using phosphate, which includes a body (110) provided at one side of a roll (A); a moving body (120) installed movably to a front or rear portion of the body (110); a driving member (121) moving the moving body (120) back and forth; a chamber (130) provided at one upper portion of the moving body (120); a sealing member (140) installed to surround a front surface of the chamber (130); a scraper (150) installed at one side of an inner part of the chamber (130) to make contact with a surface of the roll (A) in order to remove foreign matters; a foreign matter removing member (160) installed at an opposite side of the inner part of the chamber (130) to make contact with the surface of the roll (A) in order to remove the foreign matters; and a spray member (170) for spraying phosphate toward the surface of the roll (A). According to the present invention, the foreign matters are removed from the surface of the roll through a chemical reaction using the phosphate and remaining foreign matters are removed again, thereby maximizing foreign matter removing efficiency.
