The invention relates to automobile industry and may be used for identification of transport vehicles.The peculiarity of the proposed registration number consists in that the identification numbers (2) on the panel (1) are provided with perforations (7), and the light source (8) is located behind the panel (1). Between the panel (1) and the light source (8) is placed a frosted translucent screen (9), and behind the light source (8) is placed a reflector (10).
