PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solar cell which exhibits a high photoelectric conversion rate with a simple structure, and a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: The solar cell is manufactured by laminating, on at least one surface of a conductive transparent substrate (1), a photoelectric conversion layer containing inorganic particles (3) capable of photoelectric conversion and conductive polymers (4, 5) having a three-dimensional network structure substantially the whole of which is composed of a &pgr;-conjugated system. The conductive polymers (4, 5) have a sensitizing function and/or a charge transport function. Therefore, the photoelectric conversion layer contains the inorganic particles capable of photoelectric conversion, a sensitizer for optically exciting the particles, and a charge transport agent, and the sensitizer and/or the charge transport agent may be constituted of the conductive polymers. |
