PURPOSE: A streaming data skip method for searching and an apparatus thereof for supplying the image in streaming data skip search are provided to view the image at a different point by displaying the image at a skip search point as a thumbnail. CONSTITUTION: A streaming data skip method for searching and an apparatus thereof for supplying the image in streaming data skip search are as follows. A skip search command to the special point is input while reproducing streaming data(510). A request message including information about the skip search command is transmitted to an information providing server(520). A key frame corresponding to the special spot according to the require message is received from the information providing server(530). The image is indicated in the display space(550). |
