Disclosed are a high performance camera module assembly device capable of smoothly adjusting the focus and optical axis of a high wide angle lens of a camera for a vehicle and an assembly method. The disclosed camera module assembly device comprises: an adjusting jig for loading a circuit board on which an image sensor is loaded and a lens, and adjusting the position of the lens relative to the image sensor; a light source for emitting light to be detected by the image sensor through the lens; and an adhesion unit for fixing the lens on the circuit board. The camera module assembly device can assembly a camera for a vehicle while conveniently and precisely adjusting the focus and optical axis of the high wide angle lens of the camera. Thus, the high performance camera module can photograph clear and vivid images.
