WRAPPING ELECTRODE PLATE FOR USE IN LITHIUM ION SECONDARY BATTERY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD OF THE SAME

A wrapping electrode body according to an embodiment of the present invention is used in a secondary battery which is produced in an electrode laminating manner, and includes: an electrode plate having a coating layer of an electrode active material capable of reversibly absorbing and releasing lithium ions, and having a non-coating portion; first and second separation membranes covering both surfaces of the electrode plates while exposing only the non-coating portion; and an insulating polymer film disposed between the first and second separation membranes in at least a portion around the electrode plates and attached to the first and second separation membranes. Since the insulating polymer film is divided into at least two portions, it is possible to eliminate a process of stamping or punching the insulating polymer film in order to form a space for receiving the electrode plate and also to prevent insulating polymer film from being wasted during stamping or punching.
