PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for separating a high-purity olefin from a C4 olefin/paraffin gas mixture at a high yield while reducing energy consumption, and an apparatus for performing the method.SOLUTION: Provided is a method in which a gaseous C4 mixture is supplied to adsorption columns AD-1, AD-2, AD-3 loaded with an adsorbent to selectively adsorb olefins in order to adsorb a C4 olefin and discharge a C4 paraffin from the outlet of the columns, and a desorbent (C5 hydrocarbon, C6 hydrocarbon etc.) adsorbs the C4 olefin adsorbed in the adsorption columns, in order to separate the adsorbent from the C4 olefin in a distillation process. There is also provided an apparatus that is composed of a plurality of adsorption columns AD-1, AD-2, AD-3 loaded with the adsorbent to selectively adsorb olefins and two distillation columns D1 and D2 for separating an olefin/desorbent gas mixture and a paraffin/desorbent gas mixture respectively. |
