PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in which: when a granular or fibrous reinforcement material is fed to a thermoplastic resin completely melted in an extruder, dispersion failure of the reinforcement material causes high bulk in a vacuum vent section on the downstream side, so that a vacuum vent opening tends to be clogged; this event causes a situation in which operation has to be performed with the throughput of the extruder being reduced; and volatile gas formed from raw materials including a thermoplastic resin composition is not discharged to the outside of a system, so that poor quality products are sometimes produced.SOLUTION: When a reinforcement material is fed to a thermoplastic resin, and melt-kneading is performed, there is arranged at least one set of a kneading zone where kneading is performed by using a combination of a forward flight and a subsequent reverse screw notched element having a L1/D1 of 0.25-1.00, and a distance 8 from the end of the reverse screw notched element located at the end of the kneading zone to a vacuum vent opening is set so as to have a L2/D2 of 0.1 or more and less than 2.5. |
