PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine that a station is passed with high precision.SOLUTION: A portable terminal calculates the distance between a measured current position and each station in a route (S130), and sets a predetermined stations before and after a station having the shortest calculated distance in the center as an object station of passage determination (S140). Then the station located foremost in a group of object stations of passage determination is selected as a station of interest (S150), and a vector R from the station of interest to a next precedent station in the route and a vector G from the station of interest to the current position are calculated (S160), When the cosine value of the angle &thetas; that the vectors R, G contain is less than zero (No at S180), the station of interest is determined as a non-passed station (S190), and the station of interest is changed to the station right before it in a vehicle traveling direction (S195). Thus, processes (S160 to S180) for the respective stations are executed in order while a station of interest is changed backward and a first station of interest such that the cosine value of the angle &thetas; that the vectors R, G contain is equal to or larger than zero is determined as a final passed station (S200). |
