The door has a retainer (13) for retaining a commercial dry battery (14) and accessible for driving a controllable door lock (9) at an outer side (5) of a door leaf. A door handle (4) is movably mounted between rest and access positions relative to the door leaf. The retainer is arranged at a surface (26) of the door handle in the access position of the door handle. The door handle is coupled to a switch (25), and a direct current (DC) static converter (15) converts an output voltage of the battery into a high operation voltage of the door lock. The retainer is closed by a lid (22). An independent claim is also included for a vehicle.
