DUST RADIATION MONITOR, ITS CONTROL METHOD AND ITS CONTROL PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dust radiation monitor that is able to normally maintain radiation measurement in power saving state in which a suction pump is operated with reduced power load applied thereon.SOLUTION: A dust radiation monitor 10 comprises: a suction pump 27 configured to suck sample air a(a1, a2) from atmosphere; a dust collection part 25 configured to collect radioactive dust from the sucked sample air a1; a radiation detector 13 configured to detect radiation from the radiation dust collected by the dust collection part 25 and output its detection signal s1; a flow meter 26 configured to measure the suction flow rate of the suction pump 27 and output its flow rate signal s2; an inverter 14 configured to control the suction flow rate by varying the output frequency of the power source of the suction pump 27; and a calculation part 11 configured to change the suction flow rate by outputting an adjustment signal s3 for output frequency to the inverter 14 based on the detection signal s1 and the flow rate signal s2.
