PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording apparatus having a multistage sheet feeding structure and a U-turn guide unit and being compact.SOLUTION: First and second sheet feeding unit conveyance rollers 12 and 18 and first and second sheet feeding unit recording medium conveyance guides 21 and 22 respectively convey recording media fed by first and second sheet feeding rollers 10 and 16 from first and second recording medium stacking units 6 and 7. The first and second sheet feeding unit recording medium conveyance guides 21 and 22 are curved in a U shape, and are joined together. There are an intermediate conveyance roller 14 and a main conveyance roller 2 on the downstream side in a conveyance direction of a confluent point. The guide has a linear shape in the vicinity of the intermediate conveyance roller 14. The intermediate conveyance roller 14 contacts the recording medium at its position closer to the center in a width direction of the recording medium. |
