Device for processing an optical lens

The device (1) has a receiver for supporting a blocked lens (2) that is processed in a working chamber (1A). A lens-changing device (13) is arranged or pivotally mounted between the working chamber and a conveyor (12) for the lenses. A pivoting arm (13A) is pivoted about a horizontal arm axis (A). The lens-changing device is operated independently of a tool changing device (15) that is provided for changing of a tool (3). The conveyor is designed as a conveyor belt, where the handling device is arranged behind the working chamber. An independent claim is provided for a method for processing, particularly polishing, optical lens by tool rotated around pivot axis.
