METHOD FOR DETECTION OF INFLAMMATION OF ORAL MUCOSA THROUGHOUT ORTHOPEDIC TREATMENT

The method for the detection of the inflammation of the oral mucosa throughout the orthopedic treatment comprises the visual assessment of the oral mucosa. The oral mucosa is also examined with the aid of the digital microscope Supereyes B003 with the conical attachment. The computer visualization and processing of the images are performed in Adobe® Photoshop® CS6 extended. For graphical analysis, Magnetic Lasso Tool and Color Sampler Tool are employed. The inflammation is detected by the intensity of the median of the red spectrum on the color histogram and by the mean value.
