PURPOSE: A high carbon hot rolled steel sheet and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to have a metal structure with more than 95% of perlite by controlling a component, a micro-structure, a process condition, and especially a cooling condition which compose a steel material. CONSTITUTION: A high carbon hot rolled steel sheet is composed of, in wt%: C: 0.2-0.6; Si: 0.5 or less(except for 0); Mn: 0.2-1.5; P: 0.03 or less(except for 0); S: 0.015 or less(except for 0); Al: 0.05 or less(except for 0); B: 0.0005-0.005; Ti: 0.005-0.05; N: 0.01 or less(except for 0); and the remainder Fe and other inevitable impurities. The high carbon hot rolled steel sheet has more than 95% of surface integral ratio in a perlite phase. |
