The present invention relates to an apparatus for treating the surface of a continuous casting piece and a surface treatment method for the continuous casting piece using the same which improve the quality of casting pieces and products by preventing molten metal from flowing down from the edge part of the casing pieces during a melting work to remove defects in the surface of the casting pieces.
