A method and an apparatus for broadcast service are provided to supply broadcast service having low complexity for broadcast service which provides mixed 2D and 3D broadcast images. Broadcast mode information which shows whether inputted broadcasting program corresponds to one between a 2D broadcasting program and a 3D broadcasting program is acquired(S101). Media data of the broadcasting program is encoded into an encoded stream(S103). A program map table in which broadcast mode information is included and a transport stream including an encoded stream are generated(S104). |
