METHOD, SYSTEM AND DEVICE FOR UPGRADING VERSION OF WIRELESS ACCESS POINT

Disclosed is a method for upgrading a version of a wireless access point (AP). The method comprises: according to a version identification code carried in a version data request message which is sent by an AP, an access controller (AC) locally querying a Hash value of an AP version file which the AP requests to download, and sending to the AP a version data response message indicating to conduct version upgrade, the version data response message carrying the Hash value of the AP version file which the AP requests to download or carrying a Hash value equal to 0. Also disclosed at the same time are a system and device for upgrading an AP version. The solution in the embodiments of the present invention is applied to save time when separately calculating the Hash value of the AP version file when the AC upgrades the AP version, thereby improving the efficiency of upgrading the AP version.
