NONWOVEN FABRIC FOR HOUSE WRAP MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonwoven fabric for a house wrap material having both excellent adhesiveness to a waterproof tape and excellent tear strength.SOLUTION: There is provided a filament nonwoven fabric composed of thermoplastic continuous filaments. The filaments have a degree of fiber orientation of 35 to 70 degrees relative to the longitudinal direction of the nonwoven fabric. The filaments are mutually press bonded and smoothened on one surface of the nonwoven fabric. A plurality of partially heat bonded parts are formed discontinuously in any direction over the nonwoven fabric. At least a part of the filaments are mutually fused and aggregated in the partially heat bonded parts. The filament nonwoven fabric has an adhesive strength to a waterproof tape of 3.0 N/25 mm or greater measured according to JIS Z 0237:2009 under the temperature condition at -10°C and a longitudinal tear strength of 8 N or greater measured according to JIS L 1913:2010.
