PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap for a pipe body which is easily mount on a pipe body end, superior in mounting stability, and easily attached and detached.SOLUTION: A cap 16 for a pipe body is mounted on a nut part provided at a pipe body end. The cap 16 for the pipe body is integrally formed of a cap body 17 formed in a bottomed cylindrical shape and a flange part 18 at its opening end. A first engagement projection 19 and a second engagement projection 20 which engage a female screw groove of the nut part are provided on an outer peripheral surface of the cap body 17. A holding piece 21 for disengaging the first engagement projection 19 from the female screw groove is formed projecting from the flange part 18 nearby the first engagement projection 19. Cut parts 22, 23 are formed by cutting the flange parts 18 at regions opposed to the engagement projections 19, 20, and the first cut part 22 on the side of the holding piece 21 is formed larger than the other second cut part 23. |
