[Also in Division G3] Supply and exhaust of pressure fluid to and from a jack V are controlled by a valve device comprising an axially fixed screw 13 and movable nut 12 which constitute valve members seating coaxially on a piston seat 8. Movement of the nut, by operating a lever 23, in the direction to lift the seat 8, places the jack in communication with an inlet 5 through seat orifice 10, a recess 15 and passage 19 in the nut, and a chamber 20. The reverse movement closes orifice 10 and opens communication to exhaust 7 through recess 15 opening of an annular closure face 14 on the nut, and annular passage 16. In another embodiment, Figs. 2 and 3 (not shown), the device is applied to a " follow-up " arrangement for correspondence control between an actuating member and the jack (see Division G3).</p> |
