A backlight unit according to the embodiment of the present invention includes: a light source array which generates light; a light guide plate whose at least one side faces the light source array; a reflective sheet which is arranged on the lower side of the light guide plate; scattering patterns which are formed on the lower side of the light guide plate with a first size and convert incident light emitted from the light source array to surface light; and spacer patterns which are formed on the lower side of the light guide plate with a second size which is larger than the first size and secure a gap between the light guide plate and the reflective sheet. |
