PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earth retaining pipe for forming an arrival pit applicable in various construction sites including hard earth sites, and a method for constructing an underground conduit line.SOLUTION: An inventive earth retaining pipe 1 for forming an arrival pit includes a tubular member 2, a cut-off rubber 3, a cut-off rubber support member 4 provided in the inside of the tubular member 2, and soil cutting members 5 provided at a tip of the tubular member 2. A pipe insertion hole 8 is formed in the cut-off rubber 3, and a propulsion pipe entry space 9 is formed between an inner wall of the tubular member 2 and the cut-off rubber 3. When a sheath pipe x passes through the pipe insertion hole 8 and is connected to the earth retaining pipe 1 for forming the arrival pit, a connection part between the sheath pipe x and the earth retaining pipe 1 for forming the arrival pit is sealed by the cut-off rubber 3. |
