PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and lightweight keyboard percussion instrument with reduced number of soundboards without reducing the number of playable pitches.SOLUTION: A keyboard percussion instrument includes soundboards that each have a flat or curved surface and are installed at an inclined angle with respect to a flat surface. Each soundboard can be hit with a percussion mallet from at least two or more directions. The soundboards are made so that a board thickness etc. is different in each direction to be hit, and two or more pitches can be individually sounded on each soundboard. |
