PURPOSE: An emotional lighting device which is controlled according to an external environment and a controlling method thereof are provided to control a color temperature which is changed due to electrical stress and degradation for a long time. CONSTITUTION: An operation input module (150) receives an emotional lighting mode by the operation of a user. A light emitting module (130) includes a plurality of light emitting devices which emit emotional light by using an electrical signal. An environmental sensor module (140) senses the surrounding environment information of the light emitting module. A lighting control module (110) determines the state of a color temperature by inputting the emotional lighting mode and the brightness of the light emitting module to a matching table. A lighting setting module (120) generates a light emission control signal to emit light from the light emitting device.
