The present invention relates to a touch sensor integrated circuit (IC). Regarding a touch sensor IC which transmits and receives a synchronizing signal with multiple touch sensor ICs, provided is the touch sensor IC comprising: a sensing pin for outputting a sensing signal; a synchronizing pin for processing input and output of a synchronizing signal; a synchronizing signal generating unit for generating the synchronizing signal; and a state machine unit for controlling the synchronizing signal generating unit to output the synchronizing signal to the synchronizing pin if an inputted synchronizing signal does not exist when testing the input of the synchronizing signal received from the synchronizing pin, and initiating a sensing operation by outputting the sensing signal using the sensing pin. According to the present invention, a sensing operation is initiated only in case the synchronizing signal is not inputted because the synchronizing signal is transmitted and received with different touch sensor ICs, which minimizes influence on malfunction or sensitivity by minimizing interference between adjacent touch sensor ICs in the same board. Also, resistance is included within the touch sensor IC, which gives the effect that a synchronizing signal always has the same slew rate despite connection of the multiple touch sensor ICs. In addition, an additional element is not required in the external side of the touch sensor IC, which lowers production costs and gives great price competitiveness.
