The present invention is a device for classifying the standard of a hexahedral metal piece. The metal classification device comprises a body; a transfer stage which is installed to reciprocate on the body in the horizontal direction and on which a metal piece for classification is laid on the upper surface; a stage transfer unit which moves the transfer stage; a length measurement unit, a height measurement unit, and a width measurement unit which are closely installed on a transfer path of the metal piece transferred with the transfer stage by the operation of the stage transfer unit and measures the length, height, and width of the metal piece; a control unit which calculates the length, height, and width of the metal piece by receiving signals outputted from the length measurement unit, the height measurement unit, and the width measurement unit, designates a storage location of the metal piece, generates a code capable of identifying the length, height, width, and storage location of the metal piece, and outputs the code as a data signal; and a code output unit which prints the code on a label to scan the code by a reader by receiving the data signal of the control unit. The present invention automatically measures and writes the size of the metal pieces in a variety of standards and designates the storage location of the metal pieces efficiently, systemically classifies the metal pieces in a variety of standards, and improves the accuracy and reliability of the classification of the metal pieces. |
