SAFETY APPARATUS FOR ASCENDING/DESCENDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device for ascending/descending capable of ascending/descending a structure at a fixture position in a safety wire without removing a safety device from the safety wire.SOLUTION: A safety apparatus for ascending/descending includes: a safety device 10 in which a safety wire 102 extending along a transmission line tower 100 can be inserted and which has holding parts 11 and 12 movable in an axial direction of the safety wire 102; and a fixture 30 which has a grip part 30a which grips an outer surface of the safety wire 102, and which fixes the safety wire 102 on the transmission line tower 100 side. The holding parts 11 and 12 have an inner diameter which is larger than the outer diameter of the grip part 30a of the fixture 30, and also they have a slit S extending over a full length in the axial direction and formed in such a manner that its width is smaller than the diameter of the safety wire 102. The fixture 30 has a plate-like support part 30b which is connected to the grip part 30a and which extends in the axial direction of the safety wire 102. The thickness of the plate-like support part 30b is formed to be smaller than the width of the slit S.
