PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container lid (2) comprising a body (4) and a tamper evident cuff (6), configured to avoid generation of noise due to the existence of locking means (22) disposed in an inner circumferential surface of the tamper evident cuff, before a projection piece (32) gets over a locking jaw (56), when turning the body separated from a mouth neck part (52) of a container to the tamper evident cuff.SOLUTION: In an angular position where a projection piece exists, the thickness of at least an extension end of an arcuate locking piece (24) or an annular locking piece is reduced, and the reduction of a local strength in a tamper evident cuff is suppressed as much as possible. Consequently, locking means is prevented from interfering with a projection piece, thereby avoiding generation of noise due to the interference of the locking means with the projection piece. |
