PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make content items already available on one resource, also available through another resource.SOLUTION: Content items are videos and the like uploaded by a user. A streamlined interface is employed for convenience to the user. The user views a video segment through a first website and re-posts the video segment to a second website by entering a command or clicking a button. The websites coordinate the re-posting by using credentials previously or contemporaneously entered by the user. A content item may be automatically prepared for re-posting on a target website by using previously entered user selections. Playback software from a source website may be posted to the target website to allow access to the content item at the source website.
