PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage charging device which, even when a bus line voltage is, for example, extremely lower than a system voltage, can charge a storage battery without causing the internal circuit elements of a bidirectional AC/DC inverter to break.SOLUTION: The power storage charging device has a charging system (a proper charging system) composed of a system connection relay 4, an AC/DC inverter 6, a bus line 9, and a DC/DC converter 12 which are connected in that order in an interval from a system side 1 to a battery module 14. When the battery module 14 is to be charged when the bus line voltage is lower than the system voltage, the system connection relay 4 is turned off, and the charging current of the system side 1 is forwarded to the bus line 9 from the AC/DC inverter via another charging system 5 separate from the proper charging system. When the bus line voltage becomes equal to or higher than a prescribed voltage which is higher than the system voltage, the other charging system 5 is turned off and the system connection relay 4 is turned on, whereby the charging system for the battery module 14 is switched to the proper charging system. |
