PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for removing substances bound to carriers, from a biological fluid.SOLUTION: A device for removing, from blood, substances partially bound to carriers comprises a blood circuit, a fluid circuit, and a filter with a semipermeable membrane for isolating a fluid chamber from a blood chamber, and is constituted such that the blood is guided through the blood chamber and a cleaning fluid is guided through the fluid chamber. A membrane mass transfer coefficient kA of the filter is at least 2,000 ml/min. A ratio of the membrane mass transfer coefficient kA of the filter to a blood flow rate is at least 5, and the cleaning fluid contains carriers capable of being bound to the substances in the blood partially bound to carriers. |
