INTERSECTION GUIDANCE SYSTEM, METHOD AND PROGRAM

[Problem] To provide art that allows the proximity to a guidance intersection to be visually recognized with ease by means of an image that connects the image of the guidance intersection and a guidance image that indicates the travel direction in said guidance intersection. [Solution] This intersection guidance system is provided with: a route information acquisition means for acquiring information about the vehicle route; a travel direction acquisition means for acquiring the vehicle travel direction in a guidance intersection ahead of the vehicle on the basis of the route information; and a display control means for displaying on the display unit, superimposed on a portion of the vehicle forward view other than the image of the guidance intersection, a guidance image indicating the travel direction, and displaying on the display unit, superimposed on the forward view, a connection line image that connects the guidance image and the image of the guidance intersection in the forward view. The display control means displays on the display unit, superimposed on the forward view, the aforementioned connection line image such that the greater the proximity of the vehicle to the guidance intersection, the shorter the length of the connection line image becomes.
