PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an indoor unit of an air conditioner capable of uniformly removing dust of an air filter.SOLUTION: An air filter cleaning device attached to an indoor unit of an air conditioner is an air filter cleaning device including a dust collection unit that removes dust captured by an air filter and that collects the removed dust. The dust collection unit includes a brush removing the dust captured by the air filter by contacting the air filter and making a relative motion to the air filter; and a comb-shaped scrapping part scrapping off the dust adhering to the brush. The comb-shaped scrapping parts are provided at least in two portions away from each other by a predetermined distance within a brush moving range, respectively. Peaks and troughs of one of the comb-shaped scrapping parts are arranged not to overlap with those of the other comb-shaped scrapping part in a brush moving direction. |
