The present invention relates to a buoy for an oceanographic observation having an automatic balance keeping function and more specifically, to a buoy comprising a buoyant object and a body for observation and communication which is installed on the buoyant object to observe/measure oceanographic information. Even when the buoy pitches and tosses by waves, the buoyant body installed with the body for observation and communication automatically maintains a constant perpendicular status about the sea level, by a balancing body, installed under the buoyant body, which is submerged into the seawater and puts on a weight load.
