1295589 Hull form E VIKSUND 26 April 1971 [9 May 1970] 11275/71 Headings B7A, B7S and B7V A propeller-driven boat has a longitudinal central keel 15 and longitudinal side supports 16, 17 which form water-conducting ducts 18, 19 extending longitudinally one on each side of the central keel. The keel is formed with a cavity 20 which separates fore keel section 15a and aft-keel section 15b and communicates with ducts 18, 19. Propeller 12 is mounted in the cavity and rudder 13, may also be mounted there on support rail 21 which is in alignment with the lower keel line of the boat. The propeller may alternatively, be mounted about a vertical axis to effect steering. |
