PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly reduce the power consumption of a rectangular umbrella-shaped lighting instrument.SOLUTION: There is used a lighting instrument supporting an umbrella-shaped reflector plate by a rectangular box and fitted with a straight-tube type fluorescent lamp, and a socket for fluorescent lamp is removed and then replaced with a socket 10 for LED electric lamp or fluorescent lamp. This socket 10 has a ferrule 12 and is provided with a T-shaped engagement projection 13 on its upper surface to be fitted to the rectangular box. |
