The method involves removing products e.g. water bottle packages (C), by using a retaining component, and loading products on the height of a proximal end of the retaining component, where the retaining component is mounted on a material transport vehicle (3). The products are moved to a distal end of the retaining component. The products loaded on the proximal end are stored in a compartment of a vending machine (100), and output operation of the products is interrupted when maximum acceptance capacity of the products reaches a part of the compartment. An independent claim is also included for a vending machine.
