摘要 The present invention is related to an axially yielding elasto-plastic hysteresis brace (10) having an H-section steel (11) as a steel core, a buckling-restraining member (13) covering the outer periphery of the H-section steel (11), an unbonded layer interposed between the steel core and the buckling-restraining member, and the outer periphery of the buckling-restraining member (13) being covered and reinforced with a square steel pipe (12). Reinforcing plates (16) are overlapped and welded to the outer surfaces of the flanges (11b) at both ends of the H-section steel (11), the buckling-restraining members (13) being provided such that the reinforcing plates (16) are inserted into both ends of the buckling-restraining members at a predetermined dimension (L). The insertion dimension (L) of the reinforcing plates is set within a range such that 2B<=L<=3B, and 2H<=L<=3H, where the width of the H-section steel of the steel core is (B) and the height is (H).
