<p>An installation tool for mounting wheel balance weights on the wheels of vehicles (e.g. cars, trucks, etc.) is disclosed. The tool generally comprises a driver connectable to a power source (e.g. a pneumatic driver, an electric driver) and a generally removable weight holding head mounted thereto. The holding head is generally configured to hold the balance weight until the balance weight is properly positioned near the outer rim of the wheel, at which point the driver, via its striker, strikes the clip portion of the balance weight such that it wraps around the outer rim of the wheel.</p> |
