PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric material useful in a temperature range on a low temperature side as compared with conventional Bi-Sb-Te based thermoelectric materials.SOLUTION: In a Bi-Sb-Te based thermoelectric material, thermoelectric performance in a low temperature region below 200°C can be more effectively improved by increasing a composition ratio of Te to more excess than a stoichiometric ratio.
