PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently transmit drive force of a drive source to a rotor.SOLUTION: The drive unit includes: a drive source for driving a rotor; drive force transmission means that transmits drive force of the drive source; and an action part that is wound around at least a part of a peripheral surface of the rotor and rotates the rotor after bringing the rotor into a rotatable state by increasing engaging force against the rotor, wherein the drive force transmission means separately includes: a first drive force transmission system for bringing the rotor into the rotatable state through the action part; and a second drive force transmission system for transmitting the torque that brings the rotor into the rotatable state through the action part.
