PURPOSE:To make a headlight attachable such a place as excellent in the degree of setting and being smudgeless, besides uncongested, as well as to aim at improvements in durability and accuracy, by using a tilt angle detector which detects an angle to a horizontal plane of a car body or the like supporting the headlight. CONSTITUTION:When a detector is set up in position centering on a light transmission tube 3 of a tilt detector as a curved lowermost point, a ball 4 is situated in the center, and since it shades the light between a light emitting diode and a transistor, each of output lines LN1-LN4 comes to section 2 and when the detector is tilted, the output comes to section 1. And, when the detector is further tilted, each output of these lines LN1-LN4 comes to zero but when it is reversely tilted. The output comes to section 3. Furthermore it is tilted, each of these lines LN1-LN4 comes to section 4 whereby an actual angle of these tilt angle sections 0-4 is determined by the bent curvature of the light transmission tube 3. Next, in proportion as a screw 8 is gradually clamped. The ball 4 becomes hard to move, that is, hardly responding to vibrations of the detector. Thus, since the detector has not any traveling contact and its tedecting elements are all housed inside, installation on a car or the like is easy enough, besides excellent in durability. |
