<p>Provided is a connector (20) for connecting a power cable for power transmission to an electrical apparatus which is mounted in a vehicle, comprising: an apparatus-side socket; a cable-side plug (22) which is inserted into, and removed from, the apparatus-side socket; and detection switches (30) which are electrically interrupted by mechanical contact points which are disposed on the apparatus-side socket and the cable-side plug (22). Contact terminals of the detection switch (30) are disposed on the apparatus-side socket. A plug housing (41), which is electrically grounded by being connected to the apparatus-side socket, and a cover plate (43), which covers an aperture of the plug housing (41), are disposed on the cable-side plug (22). The cover plate (43) comprises: a plate main body (51) having insulation, and a contact conductor (52) which contacts the contact terminals of the detection switches (30). The plate main body (51) and the contact conductor (52) are formed integrally.</p> |
